Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani will change the test dates, exam slot and test centre of Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2017 for registered candidates as per their requests. As per BITS Pilani officials, the change in test centre, slot and date of the exam will be done to avoid the clash with other entrance examinations which registered candidates of BITSAT 2017 will be appearing in. Pilani reads, “We have been receiving requests from few registered candidates for a change in BITSAT exam date/slot/centre due to clash with their other exams. These candidates can make such a request during the 2nd week of May 2017 through an option available on the website. The BITSAT 2017 exam for such cases will be held on a particular date, slot and centre as decided by the institute.”
As the notification reads, these candidates, whose BITSAT 2017 exam date is clashing with some other entrance examination date, have to make a request for change in test date, slot and exam centre in the second week of May 2017. The link for exercising the facility will be available in the second week of May 2017.
 
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2017 will be held by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) from May 16 to 30, 2017 for admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering at the institute's three campuses. The three campuses of BITS are Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

The slot reservation for BITSAT 2017 was available from March 20th to April 5th, where candidates had to reserve the test slots for the online entry test according to their comfort and convenience. BITSAT 2017 will be held in two slots every day - first slot from 9am to 12pm and second slot from 2pm to 5pm.

BITSAT is directed each year for admissions to over 2,000 B.E. (Honors) seats. Each year, more than 2 lakh candidates apply for the engineering entrance test.
